A Young Girl Standing On A Bridge How Emily Saved The Bridge: The Story Of Emily Warren Roebling And The Building Of The Brooklyn Bridge

Emily Saves the Bridge is a heartwarming children's book about a young girl who overcomes her fears to save her community's bridge. The book teaches children about the importance of courage, community, and perseverance.

Emily is a young girl who loves to play in the park. One day, she sees that the bridge that leads to the park is broken. She is scared to cross the bridge, but she knows that her friends need her. So, she takes a deep breath and crosses the bridge.

When Emily gets to the park, she sees that her friends are all sad. They tell her that they can't play because the bridge is broken. Emily knows that she has to do something to help.

Emily goes to the library and checks out a book about bridges. She learns that bridges are made of strong materials, like wood and metal. She also learns that bridges are built to last for a long time.

Emily goes back to the bridge and looks at it carefully. She sees that the bridge is made of wood, but it is old and rotting. She knows that the bridge is not safe to cross.

Emily goes to the town hall and talks to the mayor. She tells the mayor that the bridge is broken and that it needs to be fixed. The mayor tells Emily that he knows about the bridge and that he is working on getting it fixed.

Emily goes back to the bridge every day to check on it. She sees that the mayor is working hard to fix the bridge. Emily is proud of the mayor and she knows that he will get the bridge fixed soon.

One day, Emily goes to the bridge and sees that it is fixed. She is so happy! She runs to the park and tells her friends that the bridge is fixed. Her friends are so happy and they all run to the bridge to play.

Emily is a hero! She saved the bridge and she saved her community. She is a role model for all children and she shows us that anything is possible if we have courage, community, and perseverance.
